Peppermint is often used in rubs for muscle aches, joint pains, bruises and insect bites. For people who are unable to concentrate, this oil helps to stimulate circulation thus strengthening and calming the nerves. Menthol, an active component in Peppermint helps to open up and clear the air passage during sinus congestion.
