Similar to Citronella, it contains volatile anti-mosquito components like Citronellal, which helps to cover up scents emitted by human body that mosquitoes are attracted to. The refreshing, and energising scent helps in mental concentration and alleviate stress. The antiseptic properties enhances Lemongrass position as an excellent choice as a disinfectant air diffuser. Known for its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, a 2015 study found lemongrass to be effective against dandruff and is great for after-care sports injuries, sprains and bruises.
